Position: Logistic Officer/Administrative Support

Duty Station: Tunis

Preferable commence date: 1st July 2018

Duration of the contract: 6 months renewable

In the frame of its operation in Tunisia and Libya Cesvi ONLUS is looking for a Logistic Officer/Administrative Support to be assigned to the Tunis Country Office.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Logistic tasks:
    • Purchase of goods
    • Support the Country Administrator and the Financial Officer in the preparation of invitations to bid and collection of offers
    • Make sure that all supporting documentation is prepared and filed according to Cesvi guidelines and Donors procedures.
    • Manage the relations with the providers.
    • Manage the travels of the expatriate staff from/to Libya
    • Collect information on the expatriate staff weekly agenda and arrange transportation accordingly
    • Accompany the expatriate staff to meetings
    • Ensure proper management of the Office assets
    • Ensure proper maintenance of the office facilities
    • Keep updated inventory of the office assets and consumables
    • Manage the vehicle(s) including logbook, regular and maintenance
    • Research for apartments for the expatriate staff, arrange the logistics and support in the relations with the local authorities
  • Administrative tasks:
    • Manage the petty cash,
    • Support the Administrator and Financial Officer in obtaining the Visa, work permits and residence permits for the expatriate staff.
    • Support the expatriate staff in the preparation of the mission plans for Libya and follow up the related process for obtaining the visa.
    • Support the Administrator and Financial Officer in the relation with the bank: submit request of transfers, collect documentation
    • Manage the purchase of flight tickets according to mission needs
    • Assist the Country Administrator in responding to audit inquiries and requests for financial information.
  • Education
    • Preferred technical education

Critères d'éligibilité

  • 3 years of relevant experience and technical work in the sectors of Logistics
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word programmes.
  • Strong communication skills in Arabic, English and French
  • Previous work experience in international NGOs
