About The Munathara Initiative

The Munathara Initiative is an award-winning, grassroots forum aiming to give the Arabic
speaking youth a voice in debates that discuss some of the region’s most pressing political
and social issues. By broadening participation through channels like our website, Facebook,
Twitter and YouTube, as well as live regional debates, we are establishing an open,
pan-Arab, audience-driven forum for debate on current affairs that encourages youth and
marginalized communities in the region to voice their opinions.

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and talented video editor/3D graphics artist to join our team. The
successful candidate will work closely with our production department to create visually
stunning and engaging video content for TV and Social media.

Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with production and editorial teams to create engaging video content for
various platforms, including social media, website, and TV.
● Edit video content, including color correction, audio mixing, and adding special
effects and graphics using industry-standard software.
● Create and manipulate 3D models and animations for use in video content.
● Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
● Ensure that all video content aligns with brand guidelines and standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in film production, video editing, 3D graphics, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in video editing and 3D graphics.
Proficiency in industry-standard video editing and 3D graphics software such as Adobe
Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar.
Experience with video compression and optimization for various platforms.
Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and
audio recording.
Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and meet tight
deadlines.
A strong portfolio of previous video editing and 3D graphics work.
