Position Description:

Under the supervision of the Facilities manager, the fleet coordinator is responsible for overall supervision of the fleet activities for the ma3an project.

Position Responsibilities

Technical and Operational:

  • Oversight and monitoring of transport and fleet activities in compliance with US rules and regulations and FHI360 policies,
  • Assist in activities related to the management of a team of at least 7 drivers and follows up with their logistics’ needs (fuel, vehicles’ accessories) ,
  • Support the maintain and the follow up a dashboard to monitor the management and use of vehicles,
  • Responds to the daily logistics’ requests either by responding to the emails’ requests within Grand Tunis or by following up with the Travel Authorization Requests for regional travel,
  • Organizing of airport pick-ups,
  • Ensure the fleet is safe to drive, regularly serviced, repaired, maintained, and fit for business purposes.  Coordinate repairs, recalls and all scheduled maintenance of vehicles as needed,
  • Makes arrangements for major repairs for the vehicles when needed and coordinate with the service provider from the initial request until the payment is finalized,
  • Supervise the fuel consumption of each car,
  • Provide the monthly reports,
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

 

Problem Solving & Impact:

  • Identifies and recognizes problems that have established procedures and limited impact.
  • Refers non-standard questions and problems to higher level.
  • Errors can be easily and quickly detected within the immediate work unit and would result only minor disruption or expense to correct.

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Respect and abide by all the internal regulations of FHI360 platform office

Critères d'éligibilité

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related field of study
  • At least 3 years of professional experience. Progressively responsible experience in administration, operations, logistics or related field preferred.
  • Must have a valid driving license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Typical office environment. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; ability to lift 5-50 lbs
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Personal Computer, Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), e-mail, telephone, printer, calculator, copier, cell phones, PDAs and other hand held devices.
  • Experience with USAID projects preferred. Experience with international donor-funded projects also an advantage
  • Oral and written fluency in English. French and Arabic experience preferred
