Position title : Porject Assistant
Responsible to : Porject Manager
Work station: Tunis (with travel to project activities as required)
Duration : 2 years (optional to extend)
Expected start day : February 2018
Summary :
The Project assistant coordinates the practical activities and manages the logistics in relation to project in Tunisia in close cooperation with the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct administrative and financial duties related to all aspects of project implementation
– Provide effective logistical support for the successful implementation of activities occurring throughout Tunisia. This includes, but is not limited to: photocopy of materials, supply stationery, arrange transport, booking flights and venues …
– Prepare and disseminate timely project related, narrative and financial reports to the Management Team and to other entities as appropriate
– Update project databases and documents as necessary to ensure information flow between project team and relevant parties
– Participate in regular monitoring visits to ensure the quality of the project administration and financial management undertaken in project sites
– Provide support for other activities as requested by the supervisors
– Write articles and translate documents
– Coordinate project-related meetings, events, etc.
– Make appointments, attend meetings, and take notes as needed
– Perform other duties as needed.
