1. Objective
The objective of the assignment is to provide a translation service for Earth Hour Tunisia Association.

2. Background and context
The aim of the guide is to provide practical support for Tunisian organizations in finding the best ways to engage their own communities on climate change.
The guide will present the project and the methodology used for the qualitative research, including the findings from the project’s previous activities ( focus groups). The guide will also clearly present practical recommendations for engaging different audiences on climate change.
We are seeking a skilled translator with an understanding of climate change and/or social science to translate our guide from English to standard Arabic while ensuring that no meaning is lost through translation.

3. Scope of work
The translator will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:
– Written translation of the guide
– Proofread and edit of the guide
– Share draft translation with Earth Hour Tunisia
– Incorporate suggested changes into the translation
– All texts, including texts contained in figures, boxes, captions, sources and covers requires translation and proofreading
– Ensure high quality and accuracy of the entire guide (terminology, grammar, and spelling)
– Complete the work within the agreed timeline and submit the final translation via email to Earth Hour Tunisia

4.Payment

• Payment will be made in Tunisian dinar
• The rate per page shall be inclusive of all associated costs
