Scope of Work:

FHI 360 is implementing the Department of State Collaborative Action for Handicraft Exports (ACEA) project in Tunisia. In partnership with the National Office of Handicrafts (ONAT), the goal of this project is to foster a more competitive handicraft value chain in Tunisia, leading to long-term sustainable economic growth, increased exports, and increased employment.

This goal would be achieved through a technical support to five handicrafts value chains, including the initiatives of five clusters. A first step was initiated by a technical support to the value chain “Natural extract” in the north west of Tunisia.

The Translation Assistant intern will work in close collaboration with the program management and the program team.

Primary responsibilities:

·         Assist the ACEA team in the English-French-Arabic translation of project deliverables

·         Contribute in reports drafting

·         Maintain files of activities, events, research reports and other related documentation

·         Support on information collection

·         Follow-up on networking and exchange with the project beneficiaries and partners

·         Draft and follow-up on routine correspondences (email, phone, paper, etc.);
