CESVI background
CESVI was one of the first INGOs intervening in Libya, as soon as the Arab Spring begun in 2011 and is carrying out a Humanitarian Protection Projects in the East, South and West of Libya. The “Protection and lifesaving assistance for refugees and asylum seekers in Libya“ project aims to improve standards of living and the protective environment for vulnerable Sudanese in Al-Kufra, through the establishment of Child-Friendly Spaces, a Women and Girls Safe Space, provision of psychosocial support, and supporting local organizations through training and capacity building.
Safeguarding Policies
CESVI has zero tolerance approach to any form of abuse and sexual exploitation as well as bullying and a range of non-sexual abuse of power perpetrated by CESVI employee and related personnel against any individual (children and adults) regardless of age, gender, sexuality, disability, religion or ethnic origin.
CESVI takes all the complaints and concerns about violence against children and SEA seriously and it initiates rigorous investigation of complaints indicating a possible violation of safeguarding policies as well as of CESVI Code of Conduct and of CESVI Ethical Code.
Scope of work:
CESVI is recruiting a Training and Capacity Building Assistant responsible for supporting the Emergency Coordinator in implementing capacity building of local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Libya. The Training and Capacity Building Assistant will be responsible for translating training materials, documents and resources from English to Arabic. The assistant will also support the organization and facilitation of training sessions and capacity building activities.
