USAID’s Tunisia Accountability, Decentralization and Effective Municipalities (TADAEEM) Project is a 4-year project that aims to help the Government of Tunisia decentralize governance to the institutions closest to its citizenry and continue to strengthen its nascent democracy. Deloitte, alongside a team of subcontractors, will work to enhance citizen participation in the process of governance as well as the government’s capacity to deliver the services that citizens prioritize. The Project team will work in 12 provinces, 33 adjacent municipalities, and with the central government in Tunis to ultimately strengthen the ecosystem of stakeholders and institutions across the country through four regional hub offices located in Kef, Kairouan, Gabes and Tozeur, supported by headquarters in Tunis.
TADAEEM is a large USAID funded project working in a country that is not as familiar with USAID as other international donors. The Event Coordinator will work with all the department of the project to track and ensure consistent planning and realization of events including workshops, meetings, conferences, trainings and special large public events. The Event Coordinator will work with other TADAEEM staff such as communications, procurement, subject matter staff and project leadership to identify modular elements that can be standardized across all TADAEEM activities for a consistent message, presentation and quality. The event coordinator will also work with TADAEEM staff to educate and guide them on TADAEEM brand identity, brand experience and operating procedures through guides, templates, tools, training, evaluations and outreach as needed.
The Workshops and Events Coordinator shall report directly to the Chief of Party.
