Objet: Request For Proposals (RFP): Tunisia JOBS-RFP-2023-002_ToolKit

Chemonics, the Buyer, acting on behalf of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Jobs, Opportunities, and Business Success (JOBS) Project, is soliciting offers from companies and organizations to submit proposals to participate with Tunisia JOBS to carry out the organization of a hybrid or fully online job fair.

 

The purpose of the USAID-funded Jobs, Opportunities & Business Success (JOBS) project is to help Tunisian private companies increase their sales and exports sustainably to increase economic growth opportunities, leading to job creation. As part of this effort, JOBS’ Workforce Development (WFD) component aims to close the skills and employment gaps for Tunisian youth. 

The purpose of the USAID-funded Jobs, Opportunities & Business Success (JOBS) project is to help Tunisian private companies increase their sales and exports sustainably to increase economic growth opportunities, leading to job creation. As part of this effort, JOBS’ Workforce Development (WFD) component aims to close the skills and employment gaps for Tunisian youth. 

Thus, and as a part of the year 5 strategy, JOBS aims to design a WFD Toolkit for the Ministry of Higher Education (MHESR) and the Ministry of Vocational to ensure the long-term continuity of the various programs and approaches implemented by JOBS since 2018 for career centers and education staff in Tunisia.

 

The overall objective of this assignment is to design a WFD Toolkit for the Ministry of Higher Education (MHESR) and the Ministry of Vocational to ensure the long-term continuity of the various programs and approaches implemented by JOBS since 2018 for career centers and education staff in Tunisia, to facilitate the adoption of best practices and ensure consistency in service delivery across the centers, which serve as a standard set of materials to increase employability of young graduates for VTCs and Universities

 

Scope of work:

 

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

 

  1. Expertise 1: a Career Center Specialist to (i) ensure the technical review of the Toolkit 1 and 2, (ii) provide a ten-pages summary for of Volumes 2-4 under the Toolkit 01 and (iii) ensure coordination of the work with graphic designer and the language reviewer for consistency and quality assurance.

 

Expertise 2:  a Designer to ensure the graphic design and layout for printing of the four tool kits and related volumes as assigned in the table.

Expertise 3: Editor/reviewer to ensure the final review and editing of the different documents.

 

The successful offeror shall deliver to Chemonics Tunisia JOBS the following deliverables, in accordance with the schedule set forth in II.3 below

 

Deliverable N°1: Toolkit 01:

4 separate volumes of the 

4C Governance and Business model/capacity building program 

(Total pages 130-150 pages), in digital format.

Deliverable N°2: Toolkit 2: 

Preparing and organizing a JOB FAIR (100 pages), in digital format

Deliverable N°3: Toolkit3: Soft skills integration in the Vocational (100 pages), in digital format.
