Procurement of Equipment for Vocational Training Centers

1. Background

WeYouth Organization is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization established in 2013. Its mission is to foster the autonomy, participation, and leadership of young people in Tunisia. WeYouth works in several strategic areas, including civic engagement, peacebuilding, gender equality and social inclusion, youth economic empowerment, and education. The organization is committed to supporting the positive development of young individuals, equipping them with the tools they need to play an active role in creating inclusive and dynamic communities.

This procurement aims to equip vocational training centers with the necessary furniture, IT equipment, and specialized training tools to improve the quality of training and ensure an adequate learning environment, 

  This activity is implemented as part of the TADAMON project.” 

2. Objective

The objective of this tender is to select qualified supplier(s) for the supply, delivery, and installation of various equipment required for vocational training centers.

3. Procurement Structure (Lots)

The procurement is divided into the following categories (lots). Bidders may apply for one or more lots.

Lot 1: IT and Digital Equipment

• Four (4) laptop computers
• Two (2) All-in-One desktop computers
• One (1) external hard drive (1 TB minimum)
• Two (2) wireless access points
• One (1) interactive whiteboard (smart board)
• One (1) data projector (data show)
• One (1) dual-sided ID card/badge printer

Lot 2: Office Equipment

• One (1) color photocopier
• One (1) coffee machine

Lot 3: Furniture

• One (1) meeting table
• Ten (10) chairs
• One (1) storage cabinet
• Hairdressing and beauty chairs

Lot 4: Specialized Training Equipment

• Sewing machines for training in tailoring and dressmaking (including lockstitch and overlock machines)
• 03 Mannequins for haute couture training

4. Technical Specifications

All equipment must:

• Be new, unused, and of high quality
• Comply with recognized international standards
• Include all necessary accessories for proper functioning
• Be delivered with user manuals (French or English preferred)
• Include a minimum warranty (to be specified by the bidder)

5. Delivery and Installation

• Delivery shall be made to designated training centers
• Installation and configuration must be included where applicable
• All equipment must be fully operational upon delivery

6. Supplier Responsibilities

The supplier shall:

• Ensure proper packaging, transport, and handling
• Carry out installation and initial setup
• Provide basic training if required
• Ensure after-sales service and warranty support

7. Delivery Timeline

The supplier must propose a delivery schedule. The maximum delivery period should preferably not exceed 10  days after contract signature.

8. Evaluation Criteria

Offers will be evaluated based on:

• Compliance with technical requirements
• Financial offer
• Delivery timeline
• Warranty and after-sales service
• Supplier experience
