JOB PURPOSE 

Your role will be to lead on professional services provision of organisational development in the MENA region. You will assess and monitor the organisational health of national entities and advise on solutions to foster positive organisational culture, good governance, and effective organisational development across the region. As well as advising Regional Directors of MENA on organisational development and movement building issues and solutions at regional level.   

ABOUT YOU 

As the Organisational Development and Movement Building Advisor, you will be a culturally aware individual who is fluent in French, English and Arabic. You will be able to manage tasks and priorities accordingly while being able to analyse information and identify all potential factors before deciding. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collect, assess needs and analyse data across the region to advise on trends or critical gaps in organisational development, leadership development, culture change, governance, internal crisis and wellbeing in national entities at regional level 
  • Develop and manage capacity building projects at the regional level related to organisational development needs for Amnesty International in MENA
  • Build and maintain relationships and set up a coordination system
  • Facilitate the resolution of conflict and crisis in National Entities at regional level and provide advice and updates where necessary
  • Communication with key internal and external stakeholders on organisational development, capacity-building, etc. to ensure that all stakeholders have relevant information to enable effective collaborative work and decision-making. 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

Knowledge of theory and practical experience in organisational development 

  • Ability to gather information, analyse it, and assess appropriate options. 
  • Awareness of how all decisions might impact parties in conflict, stakeholders and the organisation. 
  • Fluent written and spoken English, Arabic and French. 
  • Able to work with individuals from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. 
  • Works well under pressure, maintaining both a high level of accuracy whilst ensuring deadlines are met
