TCSE, Tunisian Center for Social Entrepreneurship, a national organization based in Tunis and working on Social Entrepreneurship is recruiting a Fundraiser.

Duties and responsibilities

The Fundraiser will report directly to the CEO. She/he will be in charge of building strategies and actions to raise as much money as possible to support TCSE’s programs and activities.

As such, the role’s responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new fundraising strategy, ideas and events for the TCSE and social entrepreneurs
  • Organizing traditional fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events for TCSE and social entrepreneurs
  • Approaching individuals, schools, universities, local authorities, shops and commercial organizations for sponsorship and donations
  • Building relationships, organizing events and coming up with new and innovative ideas

The TCSE expects the Fundraiser to:

  • Use a variety of strategies and methods to solicit donations from companies, wealthy benefactors, trusts, foundations and members of the public.
  • Have an interest in Entrepreneurship and specially social Entrepreneurship
  • Deliver tasks on time, within scope and within budget

Fundraising is all about strategy, organization, research, marketing, administration and inspiration. She/he will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues from other departments, such as Program coordinator.

Work conditions: Coworking space in Tunis

Working language: French, English and Arabic

Location: Tunis+ Mobility in some regions (Mahdia, Sidi Bouzid, Kasserine, Jandouba…).

Duration: 1 year. To start working by April 1st, 2016.

Critères d'éligibilité

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Management Studies.
  • Sales and negotiation abilities
  • Communication skills
  • Good organization
  • Administrative skills
  • Resourcefulness
  • Sensitive to cultural diversity
  • Creative thinking
  • Effective problem solving
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Finance Management or Business Field (Fundraising Assistant, Sales, Public Relation).
