BEDER Organization was founded by a group of civil society activists after the revolution in January 2011. Summary of Position


BEDER seeks a professional, motivated, and creative Logistics and Operations Officer to join in support of BEDER’s permanent staff.  The Logistics and Operations Officer will report to the executive director and to the board.

He/She will work on providing administrative and logistic support to the board and staff members.

Excel office skills and Writing skills in English/ French/ Arabic are required.

It is a full time position.


  1. Assists the board and the executive director by handling the administrative needs of the organization.  
  2. Assist in the administrative and logistical arrangements for focus groups, workshops, exchange sessions, conferences and retreats.
  3. Assists the executive director and project coordinators with the sub-granting scheme of some projects including planning and managing project related expenses.
  4. Assists the executive director and project coordinators in the follow-up with the sub-grantees
  5. Assists the project officers and the organization accountant in the budgets of activities and elaborate detailed reports.
  6. Assists the executive director in his tasks.
  7. Hold an updated inventory
  8. Provide regularly (weekly and monthly) reports on the progress of activities
  9. Establish good relationships with local and national authorities
