Accounting Intern (full time)

Internship for six months, non renewable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Make payments according to requests approved by Resident country Director or Accountant
• Help prepare cash disbursement vouchers for the current expenses and ensure that all proper supporting documentations are attached
• Help prepare monthly accounting reports
• Organize bills and enter transactions into cash log book
• Help organize files
• Help on logistics (contracts, leases, vendors and expats)
• Collect bids
• Maintain confidentiality of all information gained in the course of employment and budget
• Maintain open, positive and constructive relations with co-workers while ensuring that IRI accounting standards and procedures are observed and implemented.
