ABOUT MA3AN PROJECT:

Ma3an, is a five-year (2018-2023) USAID funded project and youth-focused project that aims to increase youth participation in civic and political life, address youth grievances, and prevent radicalization in vulnerable communities. Ma3an’s objectives are to equip youth with the skills to engage in civic action to address their communities’ needs and grievances through positive youth development (PYD) and enhance Tunisian capabilities to  prevent and counter violent extremism (P/CVE).

THE POSITION

The Knowledge Management, Reporting and Learning Manager is responsible for leading and managing the production and dissemination of knowledge and learning products and events. He/she provides technical leadership and management oversight for all knowledge management and learning activities including the knowledge management planning, content design and production, strategic dissemination, outreach, and targeted engagement. Tasks will focus on designing knowledge products and visualization tools needed to make data and findings accessible to targeted audiences. This will include infographics, graphs, charts, one-page snapshots and/or summaries of findings, Ma3an learning products, and other user-friendly products.

Position Responsibilities

Knowledge and learning Management

  • Lead and manage the implementation and design of Knowledge Management (KM) strategies that help Ma3an to capture, manage, use knowledge to inform and adapt programming and disseminate program learning and evidence.
  • Serve as a point of contact for USAID, Government of Tunisia, FHI360 HQ, donor/implementing partners and Ma3an colleagues on all matters related to Ma3an, information sharing, Knowledge Management and Learning.
  • Ensure that Ma3an information and knowledge is consolidated and stored in an easily accessible repository for Ma3an staff, partners, and USAID to help inform USAID Tunisia Mission priorities.
  • Lead and manage the organization and facilitation learning and knowledge-sharing events that bring together implementing partners, Government of Tunisia (GoT) officials, other donors, academics, private sector actors, and other relevant stakeholders on cross-cutting themes;
  • Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders to implement design strategies that help Ma3an, USAID Mission and partners to capture, manage, use knowledge, and adapt programs, activities, and their processes based on the learning and evidence;
  • Manage the implement strategies to promote cross-office learning for the Ma3an team and among the Ma3an local partners and broader stakeholder ecosystem, including local partners and beneficiaries.

·       Prepare infographics, graphs, charts, one-page snapshots and/or summaries of findings, Ma3an learning products, and other user-friendly products.

  • Closely coordinate with the program management team at FHI 360 headquarters to strategically disseminate Ma3an KM & learning product in various communication channels to share best practices and lessons learned while fostering external and internal collaboration.
  • Analyze results of PYD and PVE research findings and prepare documents on knowledge attained to disseminate to Ma3an team and partners.
  • Presents and communicates knowledge and learning in a user-friendly and digestible way, so they can effectively inform decision-making.

 

Reporting

  • Lead and manage the preparation of Ma3an performance reports, in addition to other briefings, summaries, papers and presentations for various audiences as needed.
  • Lead and manage the preparation of other learning products that highlight, significant changes, project achievements and dissemination to appropriate counterparts and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Ma3an program staff the compilation and drafting of regular project deliverables, including bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Manage all resources associated with the planning and execution of Ma3an related Learning and Adapting events, seminars, and action planning meetings.
  • Lead the preparation of learning (lessons learned, best practices) for products, events, dissemination forums and other knowledge management activities.
  • Write new and updated policies, procedures, strategies, and reference materials for internal/external guided reporting on findings and dissemination e.g., activity adaptations.

Technical Support

  • Lead the training of Ma3an program staff and local partners on the efficient use of knowledge and learning management, provide ongoing coaching/support.
  • Lead the provision of technical support to the technical team around learning and adaptation.
  • Collaborate and participate in meetings with direct and cross-functional teams to define project learning objectives and requirements.
  • Manage and disseminate, knowledge, and guidance through various avenues, including but not limited to communities of practice, virtual or on-site workshops, conferences, and webinars, at global, regional, or country-specific levels.
  • Publish reports, highlight success stories, communicate program impact/overall results to support deeper reflection on Ma3an performance.
  • Serve as project technical lead on all matters related to USAID Ma3an knowledge management adaptive management and learning approaches.

Other Responsibilities

·       Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by the Chief of Party (CoP) or his/her designee

·       Respects and abides by all FHI 360 internal regulations

Critères d'éligibilité

  • Master’s degree or its International Equivalent in Social Development, Development, Economics, Statistics, or another related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years professional managerial experience, including at least 2 years’ experience Working in monitoring and evaluation for complex development activities
  • Comprehensive understanding of the political and social context in Tunisia
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including qualitative data collection and analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English and in Arabic and/or French
