General Function

Internews Network is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant candidate for our program in Tunisia. The goal of the program is to increase accountability and transparency in Tunisia’s justice sector by strengthening the ability of media and civil society to collaborate on promoting information about legal reforms and institutions, as well as judicial processes, to the public. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day data collection and analysis for the project, tracking the progress of indicators, and assisting the project team with reporting requirements to the donor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design a Project Monitoring and Evaluation Plan in coordination with the HQ M&E Manager and the Project Director, and ensure adherence to the M&E plan during project implementation.
• Maintain data collection and tracking systems.
• Prepare reports and documents summarizing findings.
• Maintain contacts with partners to ensure timely and regular flow of information and data.
• Document best practices and success stories and prepare documentation for public relations purposes.
• Assist the Project Director with preparation of high quality reporting to donors that highlight project achievements and milestones.
• Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to upholding Internews’ Core Values.
