Title : Finance Assistant

Base : Tunis, Tunisia

Reporting to : Deputy Finance Manager

Description : The Finance Assistant will provide administrative and reporting support to the Finance Manager, in the form of assisting in the day-to-day financial operations of IWPR’s programming.

Managing : N/A

Contract Type : Short Term consultancy contract

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Maintain the petty cash system including reconciling on a daily or weekly basis;
• Organize all expenditure transactions on a daily basis to ensure completeness, follow authority matrix and assist with payments as necessary;
• Assist with banking duties as assigned by the Deputy Finance Manager;
• Process transactions on the FOMER or QuickBooks;
• Assist with monthly financial packet preparation to Headquarters, inclusive of cash counts, reconciliations, and other needed documents;
• Assist the Deputy Finance Manager to liaise with Libyan media partners as needed;
• Assist Finance Manager with any other day-to-day financial activities as needed.
