The International Republican Institute (IRI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, organization dedicated to advancing freedom and democracy worldwide.  Since 1983, IRI has worked to develop democratic institutions and ideals, carrying out a variety of international programs to promote freedom, self-government and the rule of law worldwide.  IRI provides technical assistance in the areas of political party strengthening, developing civic institutions and open elections, promoting democratic governance and advancing the rule of law.

IRI has been operating in Tunisia since 2011 in variety of capacities including development of political parties, election observation, improvements in communications; development of civil society and support for good governance.  IRI seeks to develop a database of qualified consultants able to support workshops, meetings, trainings, public forums and other programmatic activities as needed. 

This call for consultants does not guarantee work.  Consultants will be hired only on an as needed basis.

Depending on program need, IRI may need to hire local consultants with the following expertise. 

1. Develop communications strategies and plans for government agencies, departments or ministries
2. Deliver communications training to government staff on developing communications plans, strategies or awareness campaigns
3. Research and analysis of public policies based on impact on gender and youth.
