Responsibilities
- Identify and assess future and current training needsthrough job analysis, careerpaths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
- Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan thataddressesneeds and expectations
- Deploy a widevariety of training methods
- Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
- Monitor and evaluate training program’seffectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
- Manage training budget
- Provideopportunities for ongoingdevelopment
- Resolveanyspecificproblems and tailor training programs as necessary
- Maintain a keenunderstanding of training trends, developments and best practices
- Manage the Learning and developmentdepartmentswithin the IRC
- Establishpartnershipswithuniversities, NGOs and corporatesector for training purposes
- Design the training manuals/processes for our (training of trainers, one day trainings, …)
- Work in collaboration with the projectcoordinators and the management team to plan the training schedule
