ABOUT IFES/TUNISIA
The IFES Tunisia program aims to strengthen the capacity of electoral institutions to administer credible local elections that reflect the will of the people; better inform youth and marginalized communities about local elections and decentralization; encourage youth civic engagement at the local level and promote meaningful participation of all citizens in their political systems, including women, youth and other traditionally marginalized groups.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
IFES is hiring a sign language interpreter who will provide sign language interpretation during IFES and its partners events related to elections. This position is based in Tunis and will require extra-long working hours. The assignment will start in September 10th and will end in November 10th
Critères d'éligibilité
- License degree in sign language interpretation
- 3 to 5 years of related professional experience
- A deep knowledge in electoral terms in sign language
- Ability to work under high pressure
- Willingness to work long hours.
