In 2025, Soliya joined forces with AFS Intercultural Programs, uniting two organizations with long histories of connecting people across cultures. Together, we connect facilitated dialogue, virtual exchange, and in-person mobility into accessible pathways for learning, connection and leadership worldwide.

 

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and tech-savvy individual passionate about cross-cultural dialogue and conflict resolution to work with our group of high-performing team players. As a Human Resource intern, you will work with the Human Resources and Operations team mainly based in Tunisia for 6 months starting February 2026 and become part of our larger global team based around the world. You will gain professional experience in operations and communications and enhance your cross-cultural competence, professional communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills. You would also use your communication, administrative, and creative problem-solving skills to support Soliya’s Human Resources department tasks. This position will be based in Soliya’s Tunisia office, in Tunis. 

 

Your main tasks:

  • Develop an HR analysis report outlining tasks completed, results achieved, challenges encountered, and proposed solutions.
  • Design targeted team-building activities plan to support team cohesion and engagement.
  • Prepare, schedule, and participate in HR meetings with staff members.
  • Maintain and update both physical and digital filing and paperwork systems.
  • Provide support for day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Assist with expense tracking and basic financial reporting.

 

  • Support invoice collection, verification, and proper filing.
  • Assist with HR administrative processes (employee records, trackers, contracts, certificates, etc.).

 

What you bring to the team:

  • Strong attention to detail, with an ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability  to work with a multicultural team 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Arabic, and French 
  • Good level of proficiency in Excel and Word, ability to work with Google docs, forms, etc. 
  • Must be comfortable working in an online environment and demonstrate a potential for growth and learning  
  • Passion for Soliya’s mission and appreciation for and willingness to learn about the role of facilitators
  • Flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor
