Position Summary 

Search for Common Ground (SFCG) seeks a professional, motivated, and creative HR intern to join the SFCG Tunis team. Based in Tunis, the intern will provide administrative support to the HR team. This is an opportunity for interns to practice high-level and professional skills and gain experience in human resources. 

The intern will report to the Human Resource Coordinator. 

Interns must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) and must commit for at least 6 months. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Schedule interviews with candidates and coordinate internally with panelists 
  • Organize the personal folders of the staff 
  • Ensure standard templates are drafted for multiple uses, with the support of the HR Coordinator 
  • Draft and prepare HR letters as instructed by the HR Coordinator 
  • Assist the HR Coordinator in screening candidate applications based on the criteria mentioned in the job description 
  • Scan and copy documents when needed 
  • Performing other supportive and administrative duties as needed 

As job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the intern may be required to undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the above key duties. 

Qualifications 

You meet the following qualifications: 

Education : BA in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or a related field. 

Experience 

  • Experience as a staff assistant or similar junior HR role is a plus 
  • High level of spoken and written English 
  • Good attention to detail 
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm while working in a fast- paced, multi-cultural environment with minimal supervision 
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, and willing to take on tasks small and large 
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Word 
  • Cultural awareness and ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people 
  • Patient, adaptable, flexible, able to improvise and remain responsive 
  • Good communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills 

Duration: We are looking for an intern who can join our team for a 6-month period. 

Salary: Monthly compensation of 300 TND for this internship.
