Position Title: Field Coordinator – North West 

Goal of the Position: The Field Coordinator – North West 

Role: 

• The Field Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, consolidating, and ensuring smooth implementation of program and operations’ activities and adherence to logistic, administration and security procedures. At the regional level, the Field Coordinator represents WeYouth to relevant stakeholders. Typically, the field coordinator reports to the Operations Officer.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee operations and tasks related to WeYouth Program In 4 Tunisian Governorates: El Kef, Seliana, Kasserine and Bizerte.
• Depending on the context and mission needs, the Field Coordinator develops and implements WeYouth activities in collaboration with the respective program officers and technical collaborators. 
• The Field Coordinator provides general support, guidance, and serves as focal point during program planning, implementation and reporting.
• The Field Coordinator represents the organization at the regional level including general meetings with donors, Civil Society Organization, local authorities, as well as program meetings when requested by Operations Officer. 
• While the context may vary, the Field Coordinator is typically in charge of overseeing the logistics on the regional level.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications: 

• University degree in public or business administration, law, social sciences or any other related field.  
• A minimum of one year of experience in civil society activities.
• Substantial knowledge regarding the project implementation on field level.
• Excellent communication and representative skills (written, oral, cross-cultural)
• Ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations.
• Ability to adapt within the working environment.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Excellent knowledge of the territories covered.
• Lives in El Kef or Seliana.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Be autonomous, motivated, honest, flexible, rigorous, proactive and respect confidentiality.

Time Commitment: 

• 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, 5 days a week.  

Site: 

• Remote.
• On activities sites In El Kef, Bizerte, Beja and Siliana.

Supervision/Training: 

• Monthly supervision/training groups provided by the Operations Officer and other Program Team Members. 
• Individual meetings with the Head of Operations when necessary. 
• External growth and training opportunities when possible.
