About the Project:

Ma3an is a five-year
(2018-2023) USAID-funded project with the goal to increase youth participation
in civic and political life, address youth grievances, and prevent
radicalization in Tunisian communities vulnerable to violent extremism.  Ma3an’s objectives include: Youth are
equipped with skills and engaged in civic actions with local actors to address
their communities’ needs and grievances (Positive Youth Development – PYD), and
Tunisian capabilities to prevent and counter violent extremism are
enhanced (Preventing Violent Extremism- PVE).
At the community level, Ma3an uses a
community-driven PYD/PVE model to inform and support sustainable interventions through
ongoing collaboration between community actors that are inclusive,
participatory, and solutions-focused. These include working with and through
local CSO partners to understand local dynamics in each community; and
implement community-driven PYD/PVE programming involving youth, local NGOs,
local government, and other community leaders through community-specific grants.

               

Position Responsibilities

1.       Create and update regularly field office progress trackers

2.      Coordinate closely with different departments to ensure the respect of implementation timeline and deadlines

3.       Prepare periodic reports and documentations including but not limited to field site visits

4.       Communicating and coordinating as needed with other members of the project team

5.       Reports on regular basis the field implementation progress to the regional team

6.       Support the regional team in preparing program and grants tasks as needed

7.       Follow-up with program officer on in-Kind grants EMMPs (Environmental Monitoring and Mitigation Plans) documentations and trackers

8.       Support the regional team in collecting cost share

9.       Event planning and supporting in Media coverage

10.   Ensure follow ups and respect of implementation timelines

11.   Maintain accurate and complete field reports, files and trackers

12.   Assist the regional team in activity implementation, as assigned by RPM

Critères d'éligibilité

  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience sufficient to perform the key responsibilities of the position.
  • 2 years of experience working in operations, administration, and coordination. Previous experience with an international organization or NGO strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in the Arabic and French languages. Good command of English in reading and writing is preferable
  • Event planning and organization skills
  • Communication and media skills are an advantage
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and computer software skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills, well organized and detailed oriented.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify errors, and prepare reports. Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • Can multitask, work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines
