FHI 360 is currently recruiting for the position of Operations Manager who will be based in the Tunis office.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Administration and Finance, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and smooth operation of all the organization’s activities and administrative functions throughout the Tunis office and four sub-offices throughout the country.

Position Responsibilities

  • Facilitate program implementation, administration, and operations, including management of office space, information technology, information security, logistics, property, vehicles, equipment, and database functions;
  • Implement practices necessary for compliance with USAID vetting practices and procedures when acquiring supplies, services, or equipment;
  • Investigate, identify and advise the team regarding new ways of achieving project operational efficiencies, including developing critical relationships and building networks with public and private sector organizations, vendors, suppliers, and individuals;
  • Identify gaps in internal controls or other compliance and operational areas and propose corrective actions for management actions;
  • Supervise procurement and logistics team and drivers;
  • Coordinate with Regional Program Managers in all offices to ensure compliance and that needs are being met.

 

Critères d'éligibilité

  • BS/BA or its International Equivalent in management, humanities, or a related field
  • 6 years’ work experience in managing operations and administration on donor-funded programs
  • Experience with U.S. government rules and regulations and experience working in an international NGO environment desirable
  • Excellent and demonstrated organizational and planning skills
  • Fluent in written and oral Arabic, French and English
