Entrepreneurship Expert – DW Akademie Retour vers les opportunités

Context

DW Akademie is Deutsche Welle’s center for international media development, journalism training and knowledge transfer. Our projects strengthen the human right to freedom of expression and unhindered access to information. DW Akademie empowers people worldwide to make independent decisions based on reliable facts and constructive dialogue. 

DW Akademie is a strategic partner of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. We also receive funding from the Federal Foreign Office and the European Union and are active in approximately 50 developing countries and emerging economies. 

We are looking for an entrepreneurship expert at the interface of media, technology and innovation for a DW Akademie project financed by the BMZ in Tunisia.    

Your tasks

Online and possibly face-to-face training/coaching/consultation sessions for our media partners on:   

• Strategy development 
• Impact Assessment 
• Process improvement 
• Reporting system 
• Identification of growth opportunities 

You will work with cross-functional media partners’ teams, moderate workshops and act in close coordination with the DW Akademie project manager and other experts.   

Timeframe

April 2022 for 10 days (preparation included); follow-up engagement is possible

Deliverables

• Training reports 
• Visualization/documentation of results 

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in entrepreneurship at the interface of media technology and innovation 
• At least 3 years of experience in international media development cooperation 
• Proven experience in training, consultancy and facilitation 
• Familiarity with the use of digital collaborative tools for project management and facilitation 
• Language skills: fluent in Arabic, French and English
