General Responsibilities

The Digital Learning Officer is responsible for all aspects of the EFE Tunisie digital learning strategy. The Digital Learning Officer will work to integrate technology into EFE-Tunisie’s Training programs to enhance student learning and engagement.

This will be done by:

  • Developing a strategy on digital learning,
  • Integrating digital content to support EFE Tunisie projects and Training,
  • Leading the development of new online courses, working with a cross-disciplinary team of program staff, trainers, medical experts, medical illustrators and video editors,
  • Performing technical maintenance and troubleshooting of all digital platforms managed by EFE Tunisie,
  • Designing and developing appropriate digital learning experiences for students and trainers(ToT to ensure the transfer of knowledge necessary for all trainers of EFE Tunisia),
  • Supporting the integration of technology, tablets, and other devices as learning tools into EFE Tunisie Training and learning setting,
  • Managing infrastructure and pedagogical approach for EFE-Tunisie existing platforms: LMS platform, SA7TI.Tn platform, Accenture platform and any future E Learning platforms and ensure their technical linkage with the Sales Force platform,
  • Managing communication and internal marketing of digital learning to promote training to learners, in partnership with the communication department,
  • Ensuring the follow-up (registration, logistics, adaptation of the content set by the senior Training Manager …) of the learners of all online or blended learning training,
  • Analyzing statistics and training data to identify the needs, individualize the courses and validate that the proposed training offer meets the expectations of learners…,
  • Developing and implementing innovative techniques and tools of evaluating knowledge transfer to learners measuring the quality and impact of online training,
  • Ensuring continuous strategic monitoring on innovative tools and technologies in the field of digital learning.

Reporting and working relationships

  • The Digital Learning Officer will report to the Senior Training Manager,
  • The Digital Learning Officer will work in conjunction with various departments (MEL,Communication, Partners, Training, , Finance, etc.).

شروط الترشّح

  • Graduate degree in IT or Education or HR, organizational behavior or other relevant or equivalent field. In circumstances where a candidate possesses exceptional relevant experience but lacks a graduate degree, relevant post-education experience will be considered,
  • At least five years of experience and at least 3 years in the field of distance training (mastery of LMS tools and distance training platform, training in blended learning mode, online course design, etc.),
  • Have extensive experience administrating Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), ideally with experience in Moodle and Sharepoint/Teams,
  • Have experience of the use of standard industry tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign) to produce professional graphics and documents,
  • Experience in designing and developing new technologies for learning,
  • Experience in planning, implementing, and assessing the effective use of technology in learning environments,
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills,
  • Knowledge of emerging and current technologies used for technology enabled instruction, including tablets, apps, and online resources,
  • Technical skills related to the area of educational technology,
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Prior experience working with NGO and/or other USG funders, (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Tunisia and the economic context of Tunisia, (Preferred)
  • Experience with economic development or job creation projects. (Preferred)
  • Organized and diplomatic( He/She manages digital learning projects, while respecting the schedule and budget),
  • Pedagogue: passionate about pedagogy, he wishes to offer the best possible learning experience,
  • Be an effective communicator with a strong track record in human centred design,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), outstanding management skills (including ethical management), resourcefulness, flexibility, and creative problem-solving skills,
  • Good communicator: he/she knows how to unite a community. He/She is very comfortable with internal communication tools,
  • Creative: to implement innovative solutions, he/she must be creative and appreciate agility,
  • Curious: he/she is constantly on the lookout and knows the latest trends in digital learning.
