For our HiiL Hub in Tunis we are looking for a Community Coordinator (part-time) who can help in communications, campaign design, and event management. Duration:​ 3 months, Part-Time, renewable
Commencement Date:​ ​June 15, 2020

Overview

HiiL – The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law – is a social enterprise devoted to user-friendly justice. That means justice that is easy to access, easy to understand, and effective. The HiiL Justice Accelerator prides itself in being a unique nexus between innovative market solutions and a purpose-driven mission. We find and support entrepreneurs who are helping people to prevent and resolve their justice needs. In the Middle East and North Africa region, we are working on building a vibrant community of justice innovation enthusiasts, innovators and supporters. Hence this role provides an opportunity to foster collaboration between ecosystem players, delivering relevant content to them through events and programs and creating opportunities for the wider ecosystem to connect. Moreover, we provide the role holder with the opportunity to develop a skill set in communications, community and event management. The right person for this role is tenacious, resourceful, a proactive learner and a committed change catalyst.

Responsibilities

1. Communications and Marketing

Work closely with the HiiL Justice Accelerator Lead for MENA and relevant stakeholders to create, coordinate, and implement an effective communications and marketing strategy that builds and supports the HiiL Justice Accelerator brand and core initiatives in MENA.
Manage marketing & communications activities for the HiiL MENA Justice Accelerator including but not limited to writing compelling articles, creating visuals, managing social media, and creating & delivering campaigns.
Support the HiiL Justice Accelerator Lead for MENA in the development of content partnerships and co-branding opportunities and amplify the voice of MENA justice innovations supported by HiiL.
Keep up to date with the latest developments in the tools and platforms on community development.

2. Campaign Design

Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design tools such as Adobe Creative Suites and other pertinent software to create and execute creative campaigns both online and in print.
Set, plan, and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies.
Provide platform-specific text, image and video content for all social media and professional accounts.

3. Event and Program Management

Support in the delivery of incubation and accelerator based activities.
Lead promotional activities for all public facing engagement events.
Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports.
Monitors and measures the success of community engagement (i.e. number of views, number of discussions, etc.).
Identify, analyze and report on community trends to the internal team.

Critères d'éligibilité

  • You have a background in media, journalism or marketing.
  • You have experience in social business and in building enabling communities.
  • You have exceptional written communication skills in English, Arabic, and French, and can produce content.
  • You are familiar with design software and are fully capable of using it to create original image and video content.
  • You have experience in social media and using different platforms, how to know what works better where and how to keep track and increase visibility.
  • You are organized, self-driven, and enjoy uncertainty.
  • You have strong planning, analytical, and project management skills.
  • You enjoy crafting compelling stories in writing and visually.
  • You demonstrate empathy for the entrepreneurship journey.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment, like to take initiative and have a can-do attitude.
