BEDER Organization was founded by a group of civil society activists after the revolution in January 2011. The revolutionary spark encouraged an entire generation to rebuild an inclusive country based on the values of dignity, justice and equal chances. Our organization ensures that during this transition, the values that were defended in the revolution are protected and translated into tangible, transformative and effective actions.

Our main interest is to increase and diversify the possibilities of community development in Tunisia. We work on this mission by increasing and accelerating the impact of local actors and stakeholders as well as by cultivating the leadership needed for this change and the community resilience that will sustain it.

Our organization creates the potential for improvement on a fundamental level that satisfies the needs of the Tunisian society.

BEDER seeks a professional, motivated, and creative communication officer to join in support of permanent staff. The communication officer will report to the executive director and to the board.

He/She will work on a highly needed external communication handling the website and the community management of social media platforms.

He/She will be responsible of the development of mechanisms of internal communication by developing a communication manual and by training Board members and staff in order to implement it.    

Graphic design skills and writing skills in English/French/ Arabic are requested for the mission.

It is a full time position.


Manage the website of BEDER

  1. Manage the facebook page, twitter, linked-in and Youtube of BEDER
  2. Create BEDER’s Graphic Chart
  3. Respond to BEDER’s different projects graphic design needs
  4. Design and implement a manual / tools for the internal communication to monitor activities.  
  5. Train board /staff on the new internal communication procedures and tools.
  6. Establish a list of partner individuals, institutions and CSOs
  7. Elaborate a monthly news letter to email to partners.
  8. Review all BEDER’s documentation and presentations before external use.
  9. Ensure Media coverage (Photos, Videos) for different projects.
  10. Provide regularly (weekly and monthly) reports on the progress of his deliverables
