The Programme
Coffey is implementing the North Africa Technical Assistance Facility (‘The TAF’), for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). The TAF is a dynamic, demand-driven framework specific to North Africa delivered in partnership with the UK government, host government counterparts and Coffey. The TAF is designed to deliver technical assistance to Governments, non-governmental organisations (NGO) and multilateral partners in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Morocco and Algeria and regionally.

- Start Date (subject to change): Immediately 2-year fixed contract with possible extension

Purpose of the assignment
The Project Coordinator (PC) provides support to the Programme Manager (PM) across a number of key areas on TAF, to ensure operational compliance and support TAF to meet client requirements.

Specific requirements
- Support the implementation of TAF Programme at the regional level – planning, organising and attending activities and meetings where required.
- Support the technical team regionally in ensuring that partners’ requests are processed and activities are implemented in a timely manner.
- Draft contracts as required on TAF for partners and consultants. TORs for these, and supporting documentation, will be developed by TAF team, and reviewed by AM/PM before inclusion.
- Update contracts tracker with all new contracts and update monthly with days used. Using contracts tracker informing team and PM of any contracts due to run out soon.
- Liaise with Project Accountant on consultant timesheet set up.
- Monitoring of programme budgets and sub-budgets relating to specific activities streams; Support programme team in developing Output-level budgets.
- Manage TAF invoice tracker alongside UK PC with oversight from PM
- Review and submit for payment all GBP invoices received from consultants and partners. Oversee payment process and follow up on partner and consultant queries on these.
- Format and support editing of TAF client reporting as required; including milestone report.
- Oversee international mobilisations on TAF and liaise with consultant on details.
- Support recruitment, including online advertising of positions.
- Ensure TAF team have access to most up to date due diligence templates, and act as liaison between UK Risk and Compliance team and TAF Operations Team.
- Support review of activity budgets and concepts as needed.
- Update UK based Shared drive and Sharepoint system with documents as updated/created.
- Support induction onto Coffey systems for new TAF team members.
- Other work as in discussion with TAF PM.
