Position Title: Civic Engagement Project Officer (POCE) 

Goal of the Position: 

Project Officer helps coordinate between different team members and stockholders to achieve  project objectives. They also facilitate communication and assist with administrative duties. 

Role: 

∙ To effectively and efficiently manage assigned projects. 

∙ To effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure positive project outcomes.

∙ Provide competent management of human and financial resources. 

∙ Ensure the quality of activities by tracking and optimizing processes. 

Responsibilities: 

∙ The effective delivery of assigned projects, these projects may include conduction voter  education, community participation, civic engagement, local democracy and/or policy  development activities. 

∙ Ensure that effective project reporting mechanisms are implemented meeting the needs of  the Program Officer – Civic Engagement. 

∙ Ensure effective communication and liaison processes with stakeholders. ∙ Manage, coordinate and evaluate activities and services provided by the YouthHub. ∙ Support the Youth Hub Core team in maintain frequent activities. 

∙ Plan support for activists and social movements in Sfax and the southern regions ofTunisia. ∙ Plan and execute community mobilization activities. 

∙ Carry out other duties as deemed reasonable and appropriate to the role as directedfrom  time to time. 

Time Commitment: 

∙ 7 hours a day, 35 hours a week, 5 days a week. 

Site: 

∙ WeYouth Organization HQ. 

∙ Youth Hub Office 

Supervision/Training: 

∙ Monthly supervision/training groups provided by the Responsible of Civic Engagement  Projects. 

∙ Individual meetings with the Responsible of Civic Engagement Projects when necessary. ∙ External growth and training opportunities when possible.
