Project Overview: 

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is funding the Ma3an project, a seven-year (September 2018 – August 2025) project that aims to increase Tunisian youth civic engagement and economic empowerment to advance progress towards sustainable, inclusive development in Tunisia. Ma3an is implemented by FHI 360, a non-profit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions.

Capacity building RRF in Kram: 

Ma3a project supporting the implementation of Capacity building activity in Kram. MA3AN has implemented a CSA to rehabilitate the Youth Center of Kram-West, lauded by USAID and the US embassy as one of the major achievements of the project. Several modifications and changes requested by USAID and the grantee during the implementation to make sure a safe, fully equipped space is offered to the community youth, impacted the overall budget of this CSA. For the rehabilitated facility with the different provided material to be of use to the beneficiaries, they have to take trainings on how to use the equipment and ensure its maintenance, as well as thematic trainings on topics related to the work to be done with regards to the media lab and the recording studio. This is also the way to ensure the sustainability of the facilities provided for the youth center members and team, to protect the equipment, and share the knowledge and expertise with future members.

Required training agencies Service: 

The training agencies service will lead the development and facilitation of training in 

• Training 1: 3-day Training in Media Lab equipment use and audio mastering.

You will find below a table that displays equipment/supplies:

• Training 2: 4-day Training in writing and digital content creation and Mobile Journalism
• Training 3: 4-day Training in Slam and Rap performance
• Training 4: 3-day Training in Debates techniques 
• Training 5: 3-day Training in conflict management 
• Training 6: 3-day Training in negotiation skills 

The schedule of the trainings will be shared with the selected company. The tentative start date of the trainings is Monday September 15th, 2023.

Target Audience: 

• Youth between 18 to 29 years old

Expected Deliverables: 

• Develop a rigorous methodology on workshops themes/subthemes, content, format, and type of interaction with audience (Training Preferred to be delivered in Arabic or/and Tunisian dialect). 
• Lead the implementation and facilitation of the training sessions.      

Event Location: 

• Location: Kram youth center
• 1 room with at least capacity of 25 pax equipped with projector and a projection screen. 

  Payment Terms 

• FHI360 standard payment method is 30 days following the accepted service delivery and invoice reception.
• The service provider may issue an invoice following the finalization of each training he was selected for.

Financial offer : 

The Vendor may submit his price offer without VAT. FHI360 is exempted from VAT tax.

The price offer should be complete and include all expenses needed to ensure the service (such as transportation, administration or other expenses)

Selection Criteria:

– Price 40%

– Technical Offer (CV, Proposed working methodology and reference) 30%

– Payment Terms 30%

* FHI360 can select one or several service providers to lead theses trainings.
