About the program 

The New Activists is an inclusive program that aims to integrate CSOs in a process of accompaniment and capacity building, as well as active participation in national advocacy. This program is led by I4C MENA Hub, funded by USAID and executed in Tunisia by EL Space social innovation Hub. 

The New Activists is part of global network Innovation for Change (I4C), a network of people and organisations who work together to protect civic space and overcome restrictions to our basic freedoms of assembly, association, and speech. 

This invitation is intended for all civil society organizations, associations, groups of individuals working on civic projects ect. These CSOs must have an identity: name / place of implementation, specific fields of activity… 

The objective of this call is to introduce CSOs to the Human Centered Design, Financial management tools and IT tools as project management methodology in order to drive and implement locally led inclusive initiatives, activities and projects. It will facilitate work within CSOs in Tunisia. 

Participants to this program will acquire new management skills and learn best practices around CSOs project and financial management approaches while making the best use of technology tools. They will benefit from a three-day online training session around different topics, related to IT, Human Centred Design and Financial Management. 

These CSOs will be represented by 1-2 members who will take place in training. 

Criteria eligibility :

CSO working on Human Rights, community development, local governance and youth programs in Tunisia. – Young people : under 35 

– Previous social project : Active community during the last six months 

– Ongoing activities with volunteers 

– Creative team: working on solving social issues 

– Effective participation in public area 

– Having local impact measurable 

Individual projects and lucrative project are excluded to this program
