ABOUT WESTART ORGANIZATION:

WeStart Organization (WSO) is an independent, Non-governmental Tunisian organization, which was founded in Kairouan in 2018 and declared in the official journal in 2019. WeStart works on two themes: Civic education, Economic rights and employability. The organization was created with the aim of improving the situation of the vulnerable youth regarding the political and socio-economic conditions, hence, to work on integrating them in the job market in the different delegations of Kairouan. WeStart is also a part the national network OBROZ.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: 

“Youth Act’4 local change making” is a youth oriented project that aims at working with the young people of Kairouan aged between 20 and 29 years old in order to improve the state of green spaces and fitness trails. In partnership with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), WeStart strives with this project to understand the attitudes, behaviors and problems of the youth and stakeholders in Kairouan and their recommendations, proposed solutions to improve the state of green spaces and fitness trails in their city.

ROLE OF THE EXPERT:

– A one-day training held in Kairouan for 12 young people between 20-29 years old, where the focus would be on communication skills, survey techniques, focus groups and interviews moderation.

– A three-day training workshop held in Kairouan entitled “the public policies and the elaboration of policy briefs” for 12 youngsters between 18-29 years old.

– A two-day workshop held in Kairouan to reformulate two policy briefs with two groups of 6 youngsters each, aged from 20 to 29 years old.  

MISSION CONDITIONS:

– Contractual terms and conditions: payment per work day.

– Workplace: Kairouan.

WeStartwill be taking care of the accommodation for the expert who comes from outside Kairouan.

DELIVERABLES:

– A training report maximally 72 hours after each training.

– A training support 48 hours before eachtraining. 

– Two policy briefs maximally 72 hours after the reformulation workshops.
