About MEII:

Middle East Investment Initiative “MEII” is an international organization that leverages public and private resources to deliver finance and technical assistance programs to stimulate sustainable economic activity in MENA region.

About the program:

Tamweeli program consists of 2 components, Tamweeli ASSIST and Tamweeli PLATFORM. Tamweeli ASSIST aims at supporting SME’s in improving their management skills and tools, through the granting of the majority of the cost of purchase or annual subscription of an accounting and commercial software, plus technical assistance and training.

Tamweeli PLATFORM is the first online matchmaking platform linking offer and demand for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises financing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In order to support our growing activities in Sfax and surroundings, we are looking for a highly motivated Senior Business Advisor who will work closely with MEII team under the overall supervision of the Program Manager. He/She should be able to work independently as he/she will work at distance with the team based in Tunis

The Business Advisor will work approximately 80% on Tamweeli ASSIST (TA) and 20% on Tamweeli PLATFORM (TP) and will be responsible for a diverse range of specific tasks which include among others:


  • Market and promote the matchmaking platform and technical assistance among SMEs and sector enablers Prepare and execute marketing and commercial campaigns and make best effort to sustain the activity and realize required KPIs.
  • Participate to various activities and execute periodic or ad-hoc tasks related to others pillars of the organization activities.
  • Network and collaborate with other service providers and stakeholders.


  • Assist SMEs with the loan application process, and financial enablers on the platform

Tamweeli ASSIST

  • Coordinate with software providers for needs diagnostic, and software installation
  • Provide advisory services including the onsite visits of eligible SME businesses, monitor and follow up on their financial performance, and provide financial software solutions to local SMEs.
  • Coordinate with training centres for internship program implementation and training of beneficiaries

Critères d'éligibilité

  • M1/M2 majoring in Finance or Accounting
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience accountancy and/or consulting fields with an exposure to VSMEs challenges and specificities
  • Knowledge of accounting softwares for SMEs (Sage 50/100, ABS Fourmi, Odoo, etc.)
  • SME Accounting and financial management and analysis practical skills
  • Proven B2B commercial and communication skills in negotiating, presenting and retaining customers
  • Enthusiastic, willing to lead a team of junior Business Advisors
