We kindly invite you to apply, recommend candidates or circulate the call for our upcoming policy workshop “Deconstructing Islamist Terrorism in Tunisia”, conceptualized and organized by the EU-Middle East Forum (EUMEF) at the MENA program of the German Council on Foreign Relations. The workshop is carried out in close cooperation with the Robert Bosch Stiftung, the German Federal Foreign Office, and the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (ifa). The conference will take place in Tunis, 22-24 January 2016.

Profile of candidates: Mid-level Professionals (aged around 30-40) from academia, politics, the private sector, and civil society organizations such as research centers, NGOs or the media. Participants should have a relevant professional background linked to the topic of the workshop. They should ideally come from Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Turkey, Germany, the UK, France, Spain, Italy, and Greece.

Please circulate this call as widely as possible. Candidates should send the application form together with a 1-page outline of their intended contribution to our attention at eumef@dgap.org.

Application deadline is Friday, 30 October 2015.
