Assignment:
The REACH Field Manager is responsible for supervising the REACH data collection team (Project Assistants) in Tunis and Sfax in carrying out data collection for REACH assessments and surveys, supporting data analysis, supervising work plans for Data collectors, developing and monitoring data collection coverage, ensuring security procedures are implemented, and training new data collectors. In addition, s/he provides support and updates databases as needed and data entry. The REACH Field Manager is the point of contact for the data collection team in the field. S/He may be required to fulfill other duties as requested by the Assessment Manager.

Functions
The REACH Field Manager is responsible for completing the following tasks:
Planning and supervising:
- According to project work plan, identifying data collectors for the project
- According to project work plan, supervising data collectors in their daily activities to ensure the efficient implementation of activities.
- Creating a weekly work plan for data collectors in the field and at the base and providing a weekly report to management in the form requested.
- Checking the activities for the following week, following up with any additional planning of activities.
- Supporting the data collectors with daily work plans and communicating to them relevant information from the Assessment team or other staff.
- Ensuring security procedures are implemented and coordinating with Assessment Manager on a daily basis on security issues.
- Ensuring that the data collectors complete HR documents such as vacation requests in time, and complete the daily attendance sheets.
- Supervising the training of new data collectors.
Data collection and field work:
- Supporting the update of Key Informant data base and other data entry as needed.
- Monitoring the data collection in the field and check it is collected with quality (for example, interview technique, methodology of assessment is followed).
- Monitor and communicate on the situation in the field in Tunisia, including suggestions for developing coverage.
- Directly collecting data when needed with the team of data collectors.
- Reporting any security incidents as soon as possible to the Assessment Manager and Regional Coordinator.
- Responsible for REACH equipment in the field.
- Providing additional support as required relating to the implementation of activities.
- Participating in drawing the time plan for the week activities and the methodology of data collection and analysis.
