A Regional programme with the following focus in Tunisia:
1) Gender Research and Documentation: wCreation of and support to Who is She in Tunisia Women Expert Database wGender Equality Observatory
2) Political Empowerment: Training of female politicians and political candidates wEstablishment of and support to networks of female politicians wEstablishment of political mentoring programmes wCampaigns, community workshops, debates and other public events aimed at improving women’s knowledge and empowering them to exercise their civil and political rights wSupport to women’s political participation and engagement in the drafting of national policies and strategies. wActivities targeting political parties, e.g. advocacy aimed at reducing barriers for women running for elected office and for women’s access to political appointment
3) Economic Empowerment: wLeadership and management training for women in entrepreneurship, home based business and commerce, social media and employability wEstablishment of Women Career Enhancement Centres offering innovative and standardised training and coaching wSupporting networking activities among women entrepreneurs
