I.                  Scope of Work

The current assignment is to undertake the necessary social analysis, focusing on youth issues, propose appropriate interventions, and to develop a guide for methods and techniques for youth inclusion and engagement.

2.  Mission

The youth engagement expert will support the STS Team in the following specific activities:

1)      Designing and Conducting a  training course for StS Team

·        02 days training thematic should be focusing on technics and tools of identifying, attracting and integrating at-risk youth into their societies.

·        02 days training in youth training methods and techniques.

·        Developing a strategy for developing youth skills

2)      Developing a guide of methods and techniques for youth inclusion

Working with StS Team and local identified stakeholders on developing a methodological guide on how to identify integrate at risk youth at risk youth in their communities.

The Total Duration of the assignment is 14 working days which may be spread over a period of around one month to allow for analysis and later review of the near final and final draft of the guide document as they are finalized..

               3.Required skills and experience

The minimum key skills and expertise of the consultant shall cover the following:

Experience:

·          At least 5 years’ consultancy experience, with demonstrable expertise in gender and

youth issues

·          Previous experience in preparing gender and youth engagement plans/guide/Manual is an advantage

·          Excellent communication and facilitation skill

·          Excellent analytical and reporting skills
