Youth Call for Applications! 🌍
📢 We’re calling on all youth across Africa to apply for the Beijing +30 Youth Consultation.

The Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (BDPfA) is a key agreement that has guided global work on gender equality for almost 30 years. The BDPfA remains highly relevant for today’s youth as they confront and challenge persistent gender issues, yet many still face barriers to meaningful participation in decision-making processes.

To address these challenges, FEMNET, the African Union Commission, UNFPA, UNDP, UNECA and UN Women are inviting interested participants to engage in this process. Two virtual workshops will be convened to ensure broad youth engagement ahead of the Beijing+30 (B+30) Africa Regional Review. These workshops will be followed by an in-person consultation, where participants will help develop a Youth Africa position.
