JOB TITLE:

 Project Assistant

Employer: VNG International – CILG

Nationality: Libyan

Place: Tripoli – Libya with missions to municipalities in Tripoli region

 

The International Centre for Innovative Local Governance (CILG VNG International) supports decentralization and public reforms in the MENA region. We provide capacity building to local governments and their associations, training institutes and working groups on decentralization. We rely on existing experience in promoting innovation and best practices between local governments and related organizations.

With our tools, we promote good and effective governance and strategic leadership to improve the professional capacity of local administrations and policies involving all citizens to get the best of their communities.

 

Key activities:

 

– A project assistant typically provides general administrative support to projects

– Assist coordinators in a variety of fallowing tasks: Planning, organizing, managing and track all project activities, technical, logistics and management and ensure the implementation of activities in accordance with the logical framework and detailed work plans and budgets approved;

– Create and maintain filing systems for inter-office documents: (archives, files, correspondence and other records);

– Perform additional office related duties / assignments as requested.

– Participate in the identification and project design and strategies in collaboration with the Project Manager.

 

 

شروط الترشّح

  • Education: BA or equivalent in management, English, Social Sciences, Humanities or similar relevant academic disciplines
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities of Administrative Assistant Job
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of office Administration and bookkeeping Procedures
  • Knowledge of council and Committee systems
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning financial and employee files
  • Excellent social, communication and networking skills;
  • Excellent writing and reporting skills;
  • Pro-active, representative and flexible attitude, able to work independently;
  • Proficient in Project Cycle Management and Monitoring & Evaluation;
  • Proficient in financial administration;
  • Efficient time management;
  • Fully computer literate (Ms World, Excel, power point, internet...);
