With the funding and support of Middle East Partnership Initiative ( MEPI ) Utopia association will implement a 10-month project entitled “I can change my life”. The project will target 50 vulnerable rural women (skilled artisans and vocational schools graduates) from marginalized areas in Kairaouan, Saliana, Kef, Sfax, and Bizert. The goal is to ensure their economic inclusion through the creation of income-generating project opportunities. This will be achieved by empowering them through a well- designed training workshop that will provide them with entrepreneurship skills to be able to finance and manage income generating activities in rural areas, with marketing and e-marketing skills as well as with good governance and leadership skills. Beneficiaries will also benefit from a mentorships program to prepare their respective projects to participate in a regional competition. By the end of the program, the top 10 projects will be selected to receive seed funds.
This project is intended to support the following strategic goal: Prosperous societies built where education, specialized skill training and anenvironment conducive to business development inspire innovation and create the foundation for long term economic growth and an internationally competitive private sector
