ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Internews is seeking to recruit two experts to update the Media Landscape Assessment (MLA) in Tunisia. The assessment will evaluate the current state of freedom of expression and press, taking into account the country’s political, legal, and socio-economic context. The ideal candidates should be experienced in quantitative and qualitative data collection methods.
This consultation is part of a project in which Internews is involved in Tunisia. The project focuses on strengthening key electoral institutions, civil society organizations, media and elected officials in order to increase public trust and inclusive participation in the political process. Internews’s aim is to work with its partners to better inform and engage Tunisian citizens and civil society groups in elections and political processes. We aim to achieve this by creating healthy, dynamic and transparent information environments that empower citizens to make better-informed decisions, bridge divides, participate more fully in their communities, and hold power to account.
