Position title : Porject Manager

Responsible to : Program Manager

Work station: Tunis (with travel to project activities as required)

Duration : 4 years

Expected start day : mid-January 2018

Summary : The Project Manager coordinates the overall activities in the project in close cooperation with the Tunisian Program Manager, the Project leaders and the steering committee.  The Project Manager carries out the tasks given by the steering committee in close cooperation with the Program Manager.

Responsibilities:
– Directly responsible for the management of the Future Leaders project, including planning, day-to-day implementation, financial management, staff management, and monitoring of activities

– Support the Program Manager in all programmatic and compliance issues related to the project

– Deliver consolidated feedback on financial and narrative reports to Program Manager

– Closely coordinate and collaborate with relevant international and national organizations and other relevant parties, including national authorities and local partners

– coordinate and liaise on a daily basis with the team and beneficiaries
to ensure project sustainability

– liaise with beneficiaries and project partners on a daily basis to identify needs, make assessments and plan interventions to ensure project sustainability

– coordinate all field activities of the project in coordination with the Project team and ensure project implementation according to the work schedule

– provide Program Manager with reports and analytical support to develop tools to measure the impact of the project interventions through periodical evaluation

– organize and monitor timely initiation of procurement and logistics procedures in coordination with the support staff

– prepare visibility strategy for the project in cooperation with the team

Critères d'éligibilité

  • - An academic degree in management, public administration, international relations, social science or any other related field;
  • - At least 4 years’ experience working/volunteering with NGOs
  • - Experience in project management and proven organizational skills
  • - Experience with NGO sector project implementation is desirable
  • - Full professional working knowledge of both Arabic and English (including ability to draft reports for donors and partners)
  • - Good computer skills on Word, Excel and e-mail applications
  • - Arabic to the level of native speaker, fluent in spoken and written English (Danish is an asset)
  • - Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • - Ability to work effectively as a team member and autonomously with minimal supervision
  • - Ability to multitask and work under pressure;
  • - Ability and readiness to travel throughout Tunisia including overnight stays
