The Tunisian American Enterprise Fund is born from the American government initiative with the objective of contributing to enlarge employment economic possibilities in Tunisia, catalyzing the investments, promoting the private sector development and supporting inclusive economic growth. Currently focusing directly and in priority on the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as well as on the local financial institutions (investment funds, microfinance institutions…), TAEF capitalized at 60 million dollars at year end 2015 with the objective of reaching 100 million dollars by 2017, aims to reinforce their growth perspective and to contribute to inclusive social development factors: women, youth and regions in Tunisia.

Requirements:

• Execute TAEF investment strategy.
• Conduct and / or coordinate with third parties the full due diligence process related to the targeted transactions
• Perform a pre assessment with IOs the targeted transactions (mainly accounting, tax, social)
• Ensure follow up over the due diligence findings
• Prepare due diligence memorandum (or coordinate for the preparation with third parties) focusing on the transactional impact of the findings
• Assist with business plans evaluation focusing on the transactional impact of the due diligence findings
• Handle the overall TAEF monitoring & evaluation plan and follow up & coordination with the donor (USAID) oversight
• Perform financial and macro analysis when needed
• Maintain key performance tracking metrics over the fund
• Assist fundraising efforts when needed both at TAEF and investees level
• Handle the audit process of the investees according to TAEF reporting requirements
• Collaborate for the annual report set up
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Compensation:

Compensation is competitive and is based upon experience.
