The Italian Council for Refugees (CIR) is presently looking for a national Logistics Officer for its office in Tunis. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in logistics, especially in dealing with procurements, collecting quotations, dealing with suppliers and drafting procurement contracts.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role

• Review and assess procurement requests,
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and keep effective relations with them,
• Ensure that all the necessary documentation is collected and properly archived,
• Link with the Finance Department to ensure that payments are made in a timely matter,
• Liaise with field offices and ensure that procurement procedure are followed,
• Keep an updated asset list and be responsible for its management,
• Ensure that procurement procedures are respected at all levels.

Other

• Any other task to support the Administration Department.

• Contract:   Fixed-term position
• Contract length:  6 months with possibility of renewal
