Background
WeYouth Organization is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization established in 2013. Its mission is to foster the autonomy, participation, and leadership of young people in Tunisia. WeYouth works in several strategic areas, including civic engagement, peacebuilding, gender equality and social inclusion, youth economic empowerment, and education. The organization is committed to supporting the positive development of young individuals, equipping them with the tools they need to play an active role in creating inclusive and dynamic communities.
Project Context
The Ready For Tomorrow project is funded by Action Aid Arab Region (AAAR) in partnership with the Danish Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP) and WeYouth Organization. Its main objective is to improve youth employment indicators in the governorates of Sfax, Gabès, Médenine, and Tataouine.
The project focuses on enhancing youth employability through professional training, sustainable job creation, awareness-raising about labor market rights, and career guidance for job seekers. It emphasizes green jobs and sustainable skills development, including renewable energy, ecological agriculture, sustainable extraction, and green technologies.
Objectives of the Assignment
The aim of this assignment is to provide technical, vocational, and employability training for young people (18-35), equipping them with labor-market-relevant skills and connecting them to job and internship opportunities.
Trainers or training centers are expected to:
- Deliver high-quality practical training in one or more specified domains
• Support participants’ career orientation through coaching and networking
• Facilitate participant matching with companies or institutions after training
Scope of Work
Selected trainers or centers will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing structured training programs in one or more of the following areas:
Solar Energy & Electrical Basics
- Solar basics and system components
- Electrical safety rules
- Panel installation support
- Wiring and solar connections
- Tools handling and troubleshooting
- Field/site practice
Fibre Optics Installation
- Fibre types and components
- Installation techniques
- Splicing basics
- Safety procedures
- Testing tools
- Field practice
Poultry Production
- Broiler and layer farming systems
- Housing management and biosecurity protocols
- Feed formulation and water quality management
- Vaccination programs and disease prevention
- Brooding, ventilation, and climate control
- Flock performance monitoring (FCR, mortality rate)
Medicinal & Aromatic Plants Cultivation
- Sector importance, local biodiversity, and opportunities for youth
- Propagation methods: seeds, cuttings, division, and grafting
- Planting techniques: site selection, soil preparation, and irrigation management
- Harvesting and post-harvest operations: timing, drying, and storage
- Valorization and marketing: target beneficiaries, sales channels

Training Responsibilities
- Apply practical and theoretical teaching methods adapted to youth aged 18–35
• Conduct evaluations through quizzes and practical exercises
• Provide certificates of completion to participants
• Organize career consultations and networking opportunities
• Submit final reports and evaluations
Deliverables
- Attendance lists for all sessions
• Training materials and evaluation tools
• Photos and documentation of the training process
• list of at least 5 companies or potential employers introduced to participants.
• Final narrative report including:
- Activities delivered
- Participant progress and evaluation
- Key challenges and recommendations
- Evidence of post-training matching (career plans, networking records, job connections) through internship if feasible
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in the specific technical field(s) of training
• Demonstrated experience in youth training and capacity-building
• Strong pedagogical and communication skills
• Ability to design and implement practical, hands-on training modules

- A technical and financial proposal, including the total cost and the applicant’s tax registration number
• A proposed training agenda
• Proof of previous experience in similar training assignments
• CV(s) of trainer(s)
- Proof of legal eligibility for contracting and payment, by providing one of the following:
- Legal registration documents of a training center/organization with tax registration number OR
- A formal partnership agreement with an accredited training center or a legal registered trainer

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following:
- Proven expertise in the relevant training field(s)
• Demonstrated experience in youth training and capacity-building
• Strong pedagogical and communication skills
• Ability to deliver practical, hands-on training
- Be legally eligible for contracting and payment, either as:
- a registered training center with a valid tax number,
- an individual holding a recognized training patent/accreditation,
- or an individual formally partnered with an accredited training center or patented trainer
⚠️ Applications from trainers without legal status, tax registration, accreditation, or formal partnership will not be eligible.
