Background

Tunisia Accountability, Decentralization and Effective Municipalities (TADAEEM) is a USAID program implemented by Deloitte Consulting, which aims to help the Government of Tunisia decentralize governance to the institutions closest to its citizenry and continue to strengthen its nascent democracy. Deloitte, alongside a team of partners, will work to enhance citizen participation in the process of governance as well as the government’s capacity to deliver the services that citizens prioritize. The project works in 11 governorates, 31 adjacent municipalities, and with the central government in Tunis to ultimately strengthen the ecosystem of stakeholders and institutions across the country.

Job Summary

  • The Receptionist will provide administrative support to the TADAEEM Office. The position will be based in Tunis.
  • Specific Tasks
  • Receive office visitors and direct them to appropriate offices/meeting rooms
  • Receive incoming calls
  • Receive and log incoming mail and vendor billing statements in a log book and forward to appropriate department
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (manage visitor logbook)
  • Assists in providing administrative support to the project team, e.g. printing and binding training materials, photocopying; desk research
  • Monitor supply levels for stationery and materials
  • Arrange meeting refreshments/coffee for guests
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or project leadership

Reporting Relationship

The Receptionist will report to the Office Manager.

Critères d'éligibilité

  • 2-3+ years of experience working in an office environment providing administrative and clerical support
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must possess strong understanding of English, in addition to French and Arabic
  • Customer service attitude and responsiveness and enjoy supporting multiple internal teams
  • Professional attitude and appearance
