Position: Entrepreneurship Trainer
Location: Tunis, Tunisia

SPARK is currently implementing a three-year programme called LEAD: Local Employment for Africa Development. The program supports entrepreneurs &SME’s through tailored coaching, training and access to finance and markets. As part of its intervention, SPARK will provide an intensive training in Entrepreneurship to approximately 20 young students (up to 25 years old) in cities located in the north west of Tunisia. The Entrepreneurship training is specifically designed for students who are passionate about entrepreneurship and want to learn more about how to develop a business idea and build a business.

The objective of the training is to equipparticipants with the necessary tools and skills to become a successful entrepreneurbyteaching them the core skills of entrepreneurship and help them understand the key elements involved in creating a viable business idea and what it takes to launch a start-up. By the end of the five day training session, participants should have a thorough understanding of entrepreneurship and doing business, and will submit completed business plans.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

The responsibilities and tasks of the trainer include, but are not limited to:

• Develop relevant training material, including any hand outs
• Deliver the five day training to participants; ensuring methodology includes interactive tools and activities, while also providing case studies and real examples/exercises.
• Produce an end-of training report summarizing training (conclusions & recommendations) including participant feedback and evaluation.

By the end of the training, participants should be able to do the following:

• Developed an advanced knowledge on how to assess business opportunities
• Understand the key principles required to introduce a new product or service, including understanding competition and market competitiveness
• Understand risk and how to minimize uncertainties
• Understand the financial and legal aspects of launching a business
• Submit final business plan
