Soliya is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and tech-savvy individual who is passionate about
cross-cultural dialogue and conflict resolution to join our group of high-performing team players.
You will work closely with the Facilitation Training team mainly based in North Africa and Europe
and become part of our larger global team based around the world.
As Training Coordinator you would use your communication, administrative and creative
problem-solving skills to support Soliya’s training implementation, to effectively manage trainees
and improve trainee experience in a variety of Soliya’s online facilitation training programs. This
position will be based in Soliya’s Tunisia office, in Tunis.

Soliya, a global non-profit headquartered in New York, aims to develop a diverse and global
community of young adults who individually and collectively use new media and communication
technologies to promote understanding and empathy within and between their societies. Soliya’s
flagship Virtual Exchange program, the Connect Program, is a unique cross-cultural exchange that
directly connects university students in North America, the Middle East and North Africa, Europe,
and Asia using a web-based videoconferencing application. Guided by Soliya-trained volunteer
facilitators, participants collaboratively explore issues that currently divide societies by engaging
in intensive, structured dialogue, and engaging in relevant assignments. In the last fifteen years,
Soliya’s Connect Program has gone from being the idea of two young social entrepreneurs with
backgrounds in new media and conflict resolution to an established program implemented at
over 180 universities in 30 countries, connecting thousands of students annually worldwide.
Soliya’s online facilitation trainings are designed to prepare trainees for their roles as Virtual
Exchange Facilitators. Our goal is to equip youth and professionals around the world with conflict
resolution and dialogue facilitation skills that would allow them to create better spaces for
communications and connection across areas of difference. Facilitators are trained to engage
participants in a constructive and respectful dialogue around pertinent global issues. The learn
how to recognize and manage group dynamics enabling them to create a safe space for dialogue
that evokes critical thinking, collaboration, curiosity, and empathy. They are part of global
network of conflict resolution/prevention professionals and are continually learning and honing
their skills through peer-feedback/engagement, continued involvement dialogue, and additional
training opportunities.
Job Responsibilities: We are looking for talented recent graduates to support the facilitation
training program with an array of administrative and communication tasks;
o Monitoring trainee weekly performance, attendance, and technical information,
identifying patterns and coming up with suggested solutions/actions,
o Implementing and communicating technical and attendance policies,
o Tracking and addressing training schedule requests,
o Collecting and tracking trainee evaluations.
The salary for this full-time position will be commensurate with experience, with full benefits.
